Can I refer a customer who is moving out of Florida?

Absolutely! You can refer anyone anywhere.

What if I don’t know any REALTORS® in the city where my friend is moving?

No problem, Real Estate Referral Services has resources to show you how to find a good REALTOR® as well as tips on interviewing real estate agents.

Can I try to negotiate a referral commission higher than 25%?

Absolutely! REALTORS® are especially open to providing higher commission splits on high dollar transactions.

I let my real estate license expire and now it is in “involuntary inactive” status. Can I still join this referral brokerage?

Yes, but you will have to renew your Florida real estate license first.

I have a real estate license from the state of Georgia. Can I join this referral brokerage?

No. Unfortunately, at this time, only agents with a Florida real estate license are eligible to join this brokerage.

I just got my license so that I can earn commission on the home I am buying for myself. Can I do this as an agent of this referral brokerage?

Yes, we can work out an arrangement with you. Please contact us for more information.

How much will it cost me to be a referral-only agent with Real Estate Referral Services (RRS)?

You will NEVER pay money to us! The minimal cut we take comes directly out of your commission only when and if you earn commission.

The only expenses you will incur are related to keeping your real estate license current and those are not paid to us. This consists of two things:

1) License renewal fee payable to the DBPR every two years. That fee is currently $36; and

2) The cost of the required 14 hours of continuing education (CE) every 2 years. With a quick Google search we found online class options for under $20.

So to summarize, to keep your license current it should only cost you about $56 every 2 years. But just one referral can make you 10 to 50 times that amount!

Why do you give agents 100% of the referral commission if they refer to Florida Coast Realty of Brevard?

Florida Coast Realty of Brevard (FCRB) and Real Estate Referral Services (RRS) are both owned and operated by the same person, Cathy Laurenzi. She offers to pay the RRS agent 100% of the commission because she hopes this offer will incentivize RRS agents to refer to her rather than other REALTORS® on the Space Coast.

I’ve never met a REALTOR with FCRB. What if I’m not comfortable referring my family and friends to them?

You are certainly under no obligation to refer to FCRB! However, we hope that you will take the opportunity to get to know the company and its owner, Cathy Laurenzi.
